Builders Capital requires the Borrower to be a business entity, typically a Limited Liability Company (LLC) or Corporation. Builders Capital requires documentation to verify each Borrower is active and in good standing with their respective state to ensure documentation requirements are completed accurately. These include Operating Agreements, By-Laws, and Articles of Incorporation, as appropriate, as well as a current business license.
Our Borrowers typically fit within one of three broad categories:
- Local Builders - Builders completing 2-15 small to mid-sized projects a year.
- Regional or Production Builders - Builders creating neighborhoods and communities.
- Investors - Companies that own land and hire a fee builder for constructing projects.
